AdventCare Whitehorse was established in 1949, giving the facility over 50 years of experience in quality aged care. We have dedicated, professional and committed staff who take pride in creating a family atmosphere and understand that our retirement village is home to our residents. Residents who require a high level of care have access to qualified nursing staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our community volunteer program gives variety and interest to the many activity programs on offer.
Coronella promotes a multicultural environment, where people from all walks of life feel at home. Our chaplaincy program offers counselling for both spiritual and emotional needs to residents and their family members. All beliefs and denominations are catered for.
Activity co-ordinators liaise with residents to arrange social outings and activities. On-site activities are also enjoyed by residents and include, indoor bowls, craft, bridge, snooker, dancing and church services. Also available is a workshop, community garden and village bus.
Residents' every day needs are catered for by services such as on-site Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Natural Therapies, Hairdresser, Laundry (including labelling services), a Kiosk and a telephone in each room. The on-site Physiotherapist provides programs designed specifically for residents' mobility needs. Other services can be arranged to meet individual needs.
